Meet Dr. Cheryl

Dr. Cheryl has been in private practice in New Braunfels since 2001.  Initially working alongside Dr. Rita Warren, she took over as the praciticing dentist and owner here at the Dental Ark in 2003.  Her favorite things about The Ark are the family-like environment and the experiencing fun things kids do and say!

Dr. Cheryl is a true Texan.  She grew up in Austin, recieved her Bachelor's Degree from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos (1994), and even earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at The UT Health Science Center in San Antonio (1999). 

Dr. Cheryl did have to leave Texas to continue her dental education at the Medical College of Georgia Dental College. There, she earned her Pediatric Dentistry certificate (2001) and Diplomate status by the American Baord of Pediatric Dentistry.  She moved back to Texas as soon as possible -- to her husband's home town of New Braunfels.

Dr. Cheryl has continued to participate in professional dental organizations over her 20+ years here in New Braunfels.  She is a member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Texas Dental Association.

Dr. Cheryl and her husband have one daughter who is currently attending The University of Oklahoma.  As empty nesters, they enjoy spending time on their boat in Kemah, and someday plan to see as much of the US coast as possible.  They love their very "teenage" cat, Stiles, and their beautiful "princess" bulldog, Zoe. 

Dr. Liz

Dr. Liz Rudroff grew up in Oklahoma and Missouri but Texas has always been home! She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After completing her undergraduate degree, she continued her studies and received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health in St. Louis, MO. She practiced general dentistry for one year before returning for two years of advanced training at the University of Kentucky Pediatric Dentistry Residency program. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Liz is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Dental Association. 

She is excited and grateful to work with a dedicated team at Children’s Dental Ark and serve the kids of the community. She is committed to providing a fun, positive, and personalized experience for your child. Dr. Liz has a passion for working with kids and understands that good oral health is essential for future success!

Dr. Liz and her husband have one daughter and enjoy traveling the great state of Texas. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing tennis, and taking mini trips to the beach to enjoy the waves!
